-I Red Velvet I-

So meet my new troublemaker red velvet! And she has a halfsister called sweet danger, she will be introduced later. Of course they are both Asgardian-Horses

I guess a lot people will kill me if I tell you that htis was done almost without a reference xD For the pose I didn´t even used a ref and for the shading I only used a very loose reference. And the human...oh well no reference at all. I am not used to chestnuts, but actually I lenjoy drawing them

"I wish you good luck and let us hope that everything will be alright!", Lukas said nervously, it was Fionas first event with Red Velvet and it wasn´t an easy event: the big royal winter eventing show! This was a big thing, a lot could happen. "Hopefully she will behave in the show ring.", the young trainer added thoughtful, then he shook his head to chase the bad thoughts away. "Everything will be alright, we practiced a lot and Red Velvet trusts me!", Fiona calmed her trainer down, but she herself was really nervous too. You never know what Red Velvet thinks of next, may it be bucking rearing or both together. One time she blasted her saddle and spread her wings while Fiona was still riding on her. First she shoot really high in the sky and then let herself fall down until she just touched the earth, then she caught herself  back and flew over the meadows of the summerlandhill stable.

Only a few seconds until their course would start, some other participants were before them and they were really good. Fiona sighted, it would be hard to get a placing with so much competition and they didn´t have such a complicated horse like her. Lukas nodded, it was their turn: Fiona was riding in the show ring elegant and flowing, Red Velvet was still very calm - Fiona greeted the judges and started trotting. Surprisingly Red Velvet followed her instructions and they were slowly, but correctly, approaching the first obstacle. A lot obstacles were decorated with beautiful flowers, the day was sunny and everything was covered in a beautiful white blanket - only few steps from now. There: the first obstacle....they were FLYING  over it, Fiona sighted relieved and looked back to Lukas, he was showing her a thumbs up and smiled gladly. With new confidence they were going faster to the next obstacle, they still got it easily, it seemed to be no problem for Red Velvet, she almost had fun doing this. Usually this horse had only fun when she could annoy a human, but the applause cheered her up and the mare was running faster and faster, flying over every new obstacle that they approached. Fiona was so happy, she could only smile.

But suddenly - they were almost trough the course- Red velvet got even faster, they were facing a black and white chess obstacle. Fiona new they were too fast and she tried to slow her Asgardian mare down, but she would listen to her rider. Red Velvet shook her head and Fiona felt something weird happening with the reins, she heard a small sound and suddenly the young girl realized the reins were broken ,scared she clawed her hands with the new white pair of gloves in the mares red mane. The crowd were murmuring, they had never seen something like this before and that with a really dangerous horse. Red Velvet were still approaching the chess obstacle, but when the loose rein hit against her front legs the mare got scared and reared. From the rapid movement Fiona got thrown back in the saddle and some tears rolled down her face. But the red mare didn´t even think of stopping the show, she was running a small circle and approached the obstacle again... everybody around the arena hold their breath, astounded the crowd saw the strong and dangerous red mare flying safely over the obstacle and her rider? Fiona was still in the saddle, screaming because of joy, she knew they could still end this course successfully! Only a few obstacles left, Fiona gave her horse the right instructions - and behold: they also managed to jump over the last obstacles safely ! At the end of the show jumping course Red velvet fell in a fast walk and Fiona lend forwards to cuddle her wonderful mare, she knew this horse wasn´t useless, no it was an amazing horse, she just needed someone who would listen to her!
